How to Apply
An Application for funding from Greenville Women Giving will be considered only when it is completed as follows:
TWO separate packets of the following documents, each arranged in this order:
1. Grant Application Cover Sheet as front page (Click here to download)
2. A narrative no longer than 2 pages addressing the following points:
- Description of the program/project for which funding is sought
- Specific objectives you hope to accomplish
- Number of people to be served annually by the program/project
- Plans for method of evaluation of program/project outcomes
- Plans for continuation of the program/project beyond GWG funding
- Description of collaborators/partners with your organization on this program/project
3. Overall budget for the program/project, limited to one page
4. List of your organization's governing board. Please limit the information on each of your board
members to name and affiliation.
ONE copy of each of the following:
1. IRS exemption letter
2. Summary of your organization's overall annual budget - if yours is a local chapter of a state or national
organization, please provide the budget for the local organization only.
Please do not submit letters of recommendation, or elaborate folders with expensive artwork. The proposal should speak for itself. The completed Application should be mailed or delivered to Greenville Women Giving, c/o Community Foundation of Greenville, 27 Cleveland St., Suite 101, Greenville, SC 29601, to arrive before January 30, 2009 at 4 p.m.
